3-30-2010 Emma's first haircut!!!

I can't believe we CUT HER HAIR!!! I knew this day would have to come...I wasn't going to have that child with the long ugly hair!! Emma's was far from that, but the ends were definitely dry and splitting. I wanted to save her hair so she could see how curly it was. We cut off about 7 inches in a ponytail that we kept in a zip lock bag in our cedar chest. Then the hair stylist cut off about another 2-3 inches to make it even. It looks so different! This morning when I was brushing her hair the brush went through so easily, not getting caught in the bottom frizz. We will miss our sweet curls. But this is a big girl hair cut!! Good job Emma for being so brave

The Max Family said...: Her hair has grown so long!!! We to recently cut Karlie long hair but hers was bitter sweet. She is taking an added med for her disease and its a chemo drug that thins her hair so we decided the shortin back long around the chin line look. Thank You Thank You

I still love you Kim, but since I changed my layout I thought the old thank you's didn't fit anymore. I was having trouble reading the posts on my old layout. It is probably my poor eye sight, but black letters on white background is so much easier to see than white letters on black denim background. I would totally love that old background as scrapbook paper!

So the real thank you is still to Kim for starting this blog for me and by keeping me going with all the comments and help
